Terry Carter founded Carter Legal Group, P.C. in 2012. Terry is a preeminent authority in the tax deed field and also practices in the field of Commercial and Residential Real Estate. He has represented clients before Appellate Courts in Illinois and throughout the State court system. Terry has extensive litigation experience, taking many cases to trial and is a zealous advocate for his clients' interests.

Jamie L. Schmidtke
Jamie Schmidtke is a Senior Associate at Carter Legal Group, P.C. and joined the firm in 2018. She concentrates her practice in the areas of Commercial and Residential Real Estate, and regularly appears in state court representing tax purchasers seeking to acquire tax deeds as well as property owners seeking to reclaim their property from tax sales.
